Aura Health Services is a home healthcare provider. We are not an emergency medical service, an ambulance service or a hospital.

If a patient shows any of the following, call 108 or go to the nearest hospital immediately — do not wait for a home visit:

• Chest pain, pressure or tightness
• Sudden weakness, facial drooping, slurred speech or other stroke symptoms
• Severe breathlessness or difficulty breathing
• Unconsciousness, fainting or unresponsiveness
• Severe or uncontrolled bleeding
• Serious injury, burns, a major fall or a suspected fracture
• Seizures, or a sudden and severe change in the patient’s condition
• Any situation where you believe there is a risk to life

Care follows your treating doctor

Our nurses, physiotherapists, attendants and caregivers deliver care in line with the treatment plan prescribed by the patient’s own treating doctor. We do not diagnose conditions, prescribe medication or change prescribed treatment. Medicines are administered as prescribed.

Where a doctor consultation at home is arranged, the consulting doctor exercises their own independent clinical judgement. If they advise hospital investigation, admission or specialist review, please follow that advice.

Response times

References to a 20-minute response describe a service target in eligible service areas, not a guarantee. Response time may vary depending on your location, traffic, professional availability and the medical requirement.

Individual results vary

Every patient is different. Recovery, mobility and outcomes depend on the underlying condition, the patient’s age and general health, the treatment prescribed and many other factors. Nothing on this website should be read as a promise of any particular medical outcome.

Communication through this website

Submitting the enquiry form or sending a WhatsApp message does not create a doctor–patient relationship and is not monitored continuously for emergencies. Please do not use these channels to report an urgent change in a patient’s condition — call us, or call 108 if it is an emergency.
